Little girl and her father were crossing a bridge.
The father was kind of scared so he asked his little daughter,
'Sweetheart, please hold my hand so that you don't fall into the river.

The little girl said, 'No, Dad. You hold my hand.
'What's the difference?' Asked the puzzled father.
'There's a big difference,' replied the little girl.

'If I hold your hand and something happens to me,
chances are that I may let your hand go.
But if you hold my hand, I know for sure that no matter what happens,
you will never let my hand go.'

In any relationship, the essence of trust is not in its bind, but in its bond.
So hold the hand of the person who loves you rather than expecting them to hold yours...

A true and nice story about Father-Child relationship, have some time to read on... it teaches us something of parenting...

Jacob kominiski never achieved fame and never accumulated wealth.

He was a simple tailor,and pleased to be one.He walked the streets of our Brooklyn neighbourhood with great dignity ,but always with a glint of laughter in his eye .He was my father,and most successful humanbeing I ever knew.

As a child I didn't fully understand his worth.When I saw how hard he worked for so little material award I felt sorry for him and a little ashamed at his lack of ambition.I was wrong on both counts.

He worked for a Seventh Avenue dress manufacturer and one summer evening he brought home an enormous sketch pad,a handful of soft pencils,and some wool and silk and cotton swatches.He announced that the boss was giving him a chance to become a dress designer,something he had long hoped for.

Night after night he worked until midnight or later.A slight man with thin fair hair and shoulders rounded by his trade,he stood by the kitchen table,bending over the sketch pad to make qick,swirling lines while mother at near by,mending.She was a beautiful woman with long aburn hair piled high above a serene face.

Supposedly asleep in the next room,my two brothers and I listened to the nightly routine : the sisbilance of pencil on paper for a long time,then pop calling mother,"Chaya,come look."

Her dress rustled as she moved to stand beside him.Sometimes she made a suggestion for a change;usually she said,"I think it's just fine." And sometimes pop would draw an outstanding ornament so they could both laugh.Laughter was the part of everything he did.

When at last the sketches were finished, he took them off to work.Nothing more was said about them.Eventually I asked him,"Pop, what happened to the drawings?"

"Oh," he said,"They weren't any good.", seeing my dismay he said, "Danny, a man can't do everything in this world but he can do one job well.I found out I am not a good designer , but I am a good tailor."

And there I found the key to the man, the key that let me understand better as I grew older.Jacob Kominiski never pretended to be something he wasn't.Free from vanity or unrealisable ambition he was able to enjoy each day as it came.

The core of pop's happiness was his family. Almost any event served as an excuse for a reunion with all our uncles and aunts and cousins.Such laughter and jokes and sheer loving exuberence _ and all sparked by my mother and father.They were always the first couple on the floor to dance, and the first to start singing the old folk songs.While the rest of us clapped hands to the rhythm.Part of Pop's pleasure was showing off his wife , a shy sort of reverence.He thought no one in the world could match her .He once said of her," Where she walks there is light. "

Every night at dinner he reported the ammusing things that happened in during the day.( We never herd of any defeats or frustrations. ) The most ordinary events were hilarious when pop told us about them.

Pop enjoyed all men,but he reserved his friendship for a few-especially five cronies who had emigrated with him from Russia at the time of First World War. Once a month they gather in our kitchen for an evening of talk.All these men had achieved business success.Yet in many matters it was to Jacob Kominiski they turned for advice,knowing that he saw life clearly and his opinions could not be warped by envy.

They came to our rather shabby neighbourhood in big cars,wearing expensive suits,and smoking cigars.I once asked my mother,"Why do they come here in stead of meeting in their own big houses?"

She thought for a moment, and then said, "I think may be they left best part of themselves here.They need to come back to it every now and then."

When I was 13 my mother died .Through my own grief I was aware of the great loss these was to Pop. But he made only one reference to almost insupportable sadness.He said,"To be happy everyday is to be not happy at all." He was saying to his sons that happiness is not state achieve and keep, but something that must be won over and over, no matter what the defeats and losses.

In my early teens I ran away from home for the simple reason that i was bursting with curiosity about the world outside Brooklyn.I talked a pal of mine into going with me.Our thumbs got us lifts , we sang for food ,and at night we appeared at the local police station to announce we were hitchhiking to relatives and asked to be put in a cell until morning.It worked well until we reached a small town in Delaware.

The chief of Police said,"You kids look like a couple of runaways.You say you are from Brooklyn? I shall just telephone and see if there 'wanted' on you."

He found that there was indeed a missing person alarm for me. He soon had my father on the phone.After hearing I was alright,Pop seemed to relax."you want me to send him home?",the chief asked."Oh, no",father said." He wants to find out something.He will come home when he is ready."

I was on the road for two weeks,and when I finally walked down the familiar street towards our house I began to get apprehensive.I was afraid i had hurt Pop by running away.How could I find the right words to explain to him why I went?

As it turned out,it was Pop who found the right words.When i came through the front door he looked up from his news paper, and a wonderfully warm and relieved smile went over his face.Then he gave me a wink and said," There's food in the ice box, Danny." The words he had always greeted me with when i came home from school or play.So nothing had changed between us.He understood me, and my searching and longings, so unlike his own or my brothers.

His patience with me during my late teens was infinite.Both my brothers had jobs and were hardworking,responsisble citizens, but I was moody and restless and could not settled down.I wanted to express myself, but I didn't know how.Pop supporeted me uncomplainingly; once aweek i found a five-dollar note tucked beneath my pillow,to save me the embarrassment of openly recieving pocket money.

My shortcomings did not escape the notice of Pop's cronies. Everytime they gathered in our kitchen they would ask,"Danny got a job yet?" Pop would shake his head and change the subject.

One evening I heard a voice say," Jacob,I speak to you as a friend must speak.Danny is becoming a loafer.You should not allow this to happen."

Pop said," My son is searching for something he can devote his life to.I can't tell him what it is.He shall never be happy unless he finds it for himself.It may take him longer than others, but he shall find it. I do not worry about him."

Later that year I got a job as an entertainer , and suddenly I knew this was the career I had been searching for. The world of the theatre was far removed from the world of Jacob Komoniski, the tailor, yet i found myself returning to him time and again, for the same reason his cronies did.

When i was 20, I got what every actor dreams of a permanent job ! The A.B.Marcus show, 'La Vie Paree', was an extravaganza that had been touring the world for a quarter of century, and i joined the cast. We played the orient for a couple of years and then returned to the states for a series of one night stands when we reached the New York area, I went home to see Pop.

I had a problem, and I put him.This was at the depth of Depression { of 1929 which resulted from the collapse of U S stock market } , actors were out of work by the hundreds, yet I wanted to leave the show because I neede new experiences and challenges.But also I was scared.

Pop heard me out ,then said, " It's very to have a steady job.You shouldn't be ashamed of liking it.But there are some people who always have to test themselves,to stretch their wings and try new winds.If you think you can find more happiness and usefullness this way, then you should do it."

This advice came from a man who had never left a secured job in his life , who had the Europian tradition of family confirmity and responsibility,but who knew I was different.He understood what I needed to do and he helped me to do it.

For the next few years I worked in nightclubs, and then i got my big theatrical break, appearing in 'Lady In The Dark' with Gertrude Lawrence.

After that I went to Hollywood , but even the glamour of movie capital did not awe Pop .

For some of the time between his retirement and his death at the age of 80 Pop lived with me and my family there.We had a big party one evening, and soon there was a crowd round him listening to his stories about Brooklyn and his Ukranian Legends.

That i thougt Pop might enjoy hearing some of the old folk songs we used to sing, the music and the memories were too much for himto resist, and he came over to join me.I faded away,and he was in the middle of the room singing alone _ in a clear,true voice.He sang for 15 minutes before some of the World's highest-paid entertainers.When he finished there was a thunderous applause .

This simple,kindly old man singing of our Europian roots had touched something deep in these sophisticated people.I remember what my mother had said about; Pop's rich cronies: " i think may be they left best part of themselves here.They nedd to come back to it every now and then."

I knew the applause that night was not just for a performance ; it was for a MAN.

How do you spell "वैक्यूम " ???

When my friend asked me the spelling of " वैक्यूम " I was damm sure that I know the spelling, and without a second thought I told him the spelling and he SMILED at me and said it's wrong dear.... I was jaw stuck .... when he corrected me....

So just for fun sake you first write down the spelling you think is right then only scroll/look down..... You may be correct or if otherwise enjoy and Learn...

This is how we take many things at granted.....

Many of you may have spelled " वैक्यूम "correctly, but yes there are a lot of things or so that we unknowingly take as granted....

The Sculpting Competition

Long ago, in a distant land, there lived two sculptors named Seb and Matthias. One day they each received a Royal proclamation inviting them to take part in a sculpting competition to be held at the Royal Gardens.

Both Seb and Matthias were extremely excited by this opportunity and immediately started preparing for the seven day journey.

Seb set out on a bright Monday morning with his chisels and hammers packed in the back of his horse-drawn cart. At the end of his first day of traveling, he made camp in a clearing by the side of the road. After a simple meal, Seb noticed a large rock on the edge of the clearing and decided to get in some practice for the upcoming sculpting competition.

He took out his tools and began to chisel away at the rock. Several hours later, Seb stood back to look at his sculpture. It was a statue of the Princess Rebecca, but while he was reasonably happy with his attempt, Seb realized that the statue’s hands were too big. He made a mental note to be careful of this in the future and went to sleep.

The next morning, Seb continued on his way leaving his statue of Princess Rebecca by the side of the clearing. At the end of his second day, Seb found another rock to practice on and created another sculpture of the Princess. This time he got her hands right but made her legs too short. He made a mental note on how to improve next time and moved on.

Seb continued this pattern throughout his journey. Each night he found a rock to practice on, created a sculpture of Princess Rebecca, made note on how he could improve and then moved on the following morning leaving the sculpture where he created it.

By the time Seb reached the Royal Gardens he had made seven practice sculptures that were each a little bit better than the one before. On the day of the competition, Seb created his best sculpture ever and to his delight, he was awarded the coveted ‘Golden Hammer’ award which was presented by Princess Rebecca herself.

Now you may be wondering what happened to the other sculptor, Matthias, so let me tell you his side of the story…

Matthias also set out on the seven day journey to the Royal Gardens to compete in the sculpting competition. Like Seb, Matthias made camp on the first night and found a large rock to practice on. He too created a statue of the Princess Rebecca but found that he made her feet too big. Matthias was angry at himself for making this mistake and the next morning he heaved the statue onto the back of his cart so that he could study his mistake later.

At the end of his second day of traveling, Matthias found another rock to practice on and created another statue. This time he forgot to include the princesses head dress and he became furious at his mistake. The next morning, he heaved the statue onto the back of his cart and continued slowly on his journey.

Each night Matthias repeated this same pattern. He created a statue, became angry with himself when he made a mistake and then loaded the statue onto his cart before moving on.

On the seventh day, Matthias woke up early and prepared for the final leg of his journey, but when he prompted his horse to get underway, the poor animal strained at his harness but could not move an inch. Matthias jumped down from his seat and went to the back of his cart.

There he found all seven practice statues of the Princess Rebecca which were weighing the cart down and making it impossible to move. Matthias complained bitterly as he looked over the statues in detail – too big, too short, too tall…the list of mistakes went on and on. The unhappy sculptor sat down on a tree stump and continued to stare at his statues for hours, and as a result, he never made it to the Royal Gardens to compete in the competition.

This simple story illustrates an important lesson that can often be the difference between success and failure. The statues in the story represent the mistakes that we all make in life. The difference between Seb and Matthias was the way in which they responded to their mistakes.

When Seb made a practice statue he made a mental note of any problems and then he left his mistake where he made it and continued on his journey. As a result, he gradually developed his skills and eventually achieved his ultimate objective.

Matthias on the other hand approached his mistakes in a different fashion. Each time he made a statue, he loaded it onto his cart and took it with him. Each day his cart became heavier and heavier until eventually it would not move at all. Instead of leaving his mistakes where he made them, Matthias carried the weight of his mistakes with him and the weight of these past mistakes eventually prevented him from reaching his real objective.

On your journey to success, understand that you too will make mistakes. Some small, some big. Each time you make a mistake you have a choice. You can either learn from your mistake and move on like Seb, or you can carry your mistake with you like Matthias.

The danger in harboring regret and continually analyzing your past mistakes is that, like Matthias, you can eventually get stuck and can jeopardize the achievements that are waiting for you in your future.

Today I’d like to encourage you to reflect on the story of Seb and Matthias and make the decision to leave your mistakes where you make them. In this way, you’ll be able to learn from your mistakes but will still be able to move forward to achieve your ultimate objective.

Practice of Brahmacharya

Instincts and appetites form a part of all life on earth. Sense impulses and biological urges are common to animal and man alike. Sex is one of the prominent, most important and absolutely essential aspects of human, animal as well as plant life. Sex is an integral part of life—human, animal and plant. While this aspect of life is regulated by nature in plants and by instinct in animals, in man it is left to his common-sense, intelligence and his developed reason to control and regulate the same. The vast and ancient scriptures of the world offer human society specific rules and regulations in this respect. With regard to India, as a nation, our forefathers followed the do’s and don’ts of the Dharma Sastras in meticulous detail and this, in large measure, contributed to their health, longevity and spiritual welfare.

But alas, in the present-day world, and more particularly among the educated class, in all walks of society and in all age groups, norms of conduct laid down by the scriptures are flouted with so much impunity that we see, all around us, the number of physical, mental and moral wrecks increasing every day. One reason for this sad state of affairs is modern man’s ignorance of his own scriptural treasures.
Swami Sivananda came on the Indian scene, in the early thirties, to blast this ignorance of the people by offering the hoary wisdom of the ancients through the media of his simple English writings. It is well known that spiritual treatises apart, the great Master, whose love for mankind knew no bounds, wrote a number of books concerning health, hygiene and medicine. One such book was “Practice of Brahmacharya” which dealt mostly with the subject of celibacy, and where celibacy was not possible, a regulated sex life. This book has been popular with the public.

This apart, the Swamiji’s thoughts on the subject of sex and sex sublimation are also to be seen here and there spread over his voluminous writings. In the present volume, all of Swamiji’s thoughts and instructions on the subject of sex and celibacy have been gathered up from “Practice of Brahmacharya” and elsewhere, and thoroughly edited, with a view to offering the public, and especially to the younger generation, a working guide to the vital subject of sex sublimation. This has been done as an act of loving service to modern youth who are often left groping in the dark by an irresponsible society. These days we often hear about “juvenile delinquency,” but this juvenile delinquency itself is the result of adult irresponsibility. The youth of the world craves for guidance which is often not forthcoming from the parents, teachers or society.

It is hoped that this book of holy Master Swami Sivananda will fill the above-mentioned lacuna and offer the youth of the world the knowledge and guidance which they so richly deserve in a vital area which affects their physical, mental, ethical and spiritual well-being. We pray that the blessings of the holy Master may pour on all those who may chance to go through the following pages and open up a new chapter in their lives. May all be healthy, happy and spiritually blessed.

Brahmacharya means celibacy. A Brahmachari is one who is a celibate, one who observes chastity or celibacy. The term ‘Celibacy’ is from the Latin word ‘Caelebs’, which means ‘unmarried’ or ‘single’ and signifies the state of living unmarried. It means control of not only the reproductive Indriya but also control of all senses; it means purity in thought, word and actions.
The life of a Brahmachari begins with the Upanayana ceremony, the investiture of the sacred thread, his second birth. The Brahmachari should direct his entire attention solely to study and acquiring of such knowledge as would enable him to become a worthy member of society. During this period of study let him live either with his parents or at the place of his study under the supervision of teachers. He should not live by himself, with friends and acquaintances, nor with relatives.
A Brahmachari is one who is attempting to realise Brahman by his conducting a life of absolute celibacy. Brahmacharya is the conduct of leading a celibate life. A Brahmachari should study religious books till he reaches the age of twenty-five. If he has taken the vow of celibacy till the end of life, if he wants to become a Naishtika Brahmachari, he need not enter the stage of householder. He should have real lasting Vairagya and Viveka (dispassion and discrimination). Then only he will be really benefited. He can devote his whole life to spiritual pursuits.
A Brahmachari should worship his Guru, worship cows and gods with due reverence. Guru is the embodiment of all Vedas and all Devas. Therefore God and Guru should be taken as one and he should worship his Guru daily. He should serve his Guru with faith and devotion for complete twelve years.
The Brahmachari should have Japa as his highest possession. He should never leave Japa. Through Japa alone the Brahmachari attains success, no matter whether he performs any other Vedic sacrifice or not. Through the contact of his senses with their objects of gratification, he undoubtedly acquires sin. Hence, by controlling them, he achieves success. Control of the senses is possible for the Brahmachari only through Japa.
Brahmacharis should do their Sandhya Vandana daily at the proper time,-morning, noon and evening. ‘Sandhya’ is the point of junction of two periods of time. There is a special manifestation of force or purity at Sandhyas. The student will derive immense benefit by doing prayers at this particular meeting point of two periods of time. Arghya (offering libation) with repetition of the Gayatri should be given to the sun at the proper time. You will have wonderful health, vigour and vitality and a pure, sharp intellect. At the present moment students have entirely neglected their Sandhyas. Their minds have been charged with materialistic poison. They have become slayers of Atman. "Eat, drink and be merry, for tomorrow we may die" has become their philosophy! Poor, self-deluded souls! How long will you continue this state of affairs? Do not kill the soul within. Awake, arise and purify yourself. Do Sandhya. Understand and realise its potency and efficacy. Do some form of worship or other and realise the splendours of the Atman. Regain your lost divinity.
A true Brahmachari only can cultivate Bhakti. A true Brahmachari alone can practise Yoga. A true Brahmachari only can acquire Jnana. Without Brahmacharya no spiritual progress or success in worldly affairs is possible.
Brahmacharis should entirely give up betel-chewing, cigarettes, tobacco, snuff, tea, coffee, etc. Tobacco produces nicotine poisoning, tobacco-heart (irritable heart), nervous diseases and tobacco-amblyopia (eye disease).
O bold Brahmachari, practice of Brahmacharya gives good health, inner peace, strength, peace of mind and long life. It invigorates the mind and nerves. It helps to conserve physical and mental energy. It augments strength, vigour and vitality. It gives power to face the difficulties in the daily battle of life. It is the master key for opening the realm of health and happiness. It is the corner stone of bliss and unalloyed felicity. It is the only specific that keeps up true manliness. Therefore keep up Brahmacharya by all means. Brahmacharya is freedom from sexual thoughts and desires. Preserve the vital fluid. It is the life-force in you. You will enjoy supreme bliss. A perfect Brahmachari can move the world, can command the five elements, like Sant Jnana Deva.
Brahmacharya is the basis for acquiring immortality. Brahmacharya brings material progress and psychic advancement. It is the substratum for a life of peace in the Atman. It is a potent weapon for waging war against the internal Asuras, viz., Kama, Krodha, Lobha, etc. It contributes perennial joy, uninterrupted and undecaying bliss. It gives tremendous energy, clear brain, gigantic will-power, bold understanding, retentive memory and good Vichara Sakti. Through Brahmacharya and Brahmacharya alone you can get physical, mental and spiritual advancement in life.
The vital energy, the Virya, supports your life. It is the Prana of Pranas which shines in your sparkling eyes, which beams in your blooming cheeks. It is a great treasure for you. It is the quintessence of blood. One drop of semen is manufactured out of forty drops of blood. Mark here how valuable this fluid is!
Brahmacharya or spotless chastity is the best of all panaceas. One who has perfect control over the sexual energy attains powers unobtainable by any other means. The door to Nirvana or perfection is complete Brahmacharya. Complete celibacy is the master-key to open the realms of elysian bliss. The avenue to the abode of supreme peace begins from Brahmacharya or purity. Ojas is spiritual energy that is stored up in the brain. By sublime thoughts, meditation, Japa, worship and Pranayama, sexual energy can be transmuted into Ojas Sakti and stored up in the brain. This energy can be utilised for divine contemplation and spiritual pursuits.
That man in whom the sex-idea is deep-rooted can never dream of understanding Vedanta and realising Brahman even in one hundred crores of births. Sexual Vasanas (subtle desires) are more powerful than other Vasanas. Therefore you will have to direct all your efforts to subduing the sexual Vasanas. Narada says in his Bhakti Sutras: "These (sexual) propensities, though they at first are like ripples, acquire the proportions of a sea, on account of bad company" (Sutra 45). Therefore avoid evil company at all costs.
What is the state of your mind, when you attend a ball-room dance or nautch party, or when you read the ‘Mysteries of the Court of London?’ What is the state of your mind when you attend the Satsanga party of a realised sage at Banares on the banks of the Ganga, or when you study the soul-elevating classical Upanishads? Compare and contrast your mental states. Remember, friend, that there is nothing so utterly ruinous to the soul as evil company. One should not talk even of stories of women, the luxurious ways of rich persons, rich foods, vehicles, politics, silken clothing, flowers, scents, etc. Because the mind gets easily excited; it will begin to imitate the ways of luxurious persons. Desires will crop up. Attachment also will come in.
Obscene pictures, vulgar words, novels which deal with love stories, excite passion and produce ignoble, mean, undesirable sentiments in the heart. Whereas, the sight of a good picture of Lord Krishna or Lord Rama or Lord Jesus or Lord Buddha and the hearing of the sublime songs of Suradas, Tulasidas or Tyagaraja induce noble sentiments, holy thrill in the heart and produce tears of joy and Prem, and elevate the mind to Bhava Samadhi instantaneously. Do you clearly see the difference now?
He who has wasted the vital energy becomes easily irritable, loses his balance of mind and gets into a state of explosive fury for trifling things. When a man becomes furious, he behaves improperly. He will do anything he likes. He will even insult his parents, Guru and respectable persons. He does not know what he is exactly doing, as he loses his power of reasoning and discrimination. It behoves, therefore, that an aspirant who tries to develop good behaviour must preserve the vital energy. Preservation of this divine energy leads to attainment of strong willpower, good behaviour, spiritual exaltation and Sreya or Moksha eventually.
There is no harm in looking at a beautiful woman. You can admire her beauty and think that the beauty in her face is the beauty of the Lord. Beauty is God. Woman brings the message that God is Beauty of beauties. Woman is the symbol of beauty. There should not be any lustful look (Drishti Dosha). The angle of vision must be changed as indicated above.
Again and again think that the beauty of the face is the beauty of the Lord. Godly feeling will arise when you look at a woman or a beautiful picture. Study the tenth chapter of the Gita—Vibhuti Yoga, again and again.
Physical Brahmacharya must be strictly practised at first. Control the body. Mental purity or mental Brahmacharya will gradually manifest.
Lead a well regulated moral life. Moral strength is the backbone of spiritual progress. Ethical culture is part and parcel of spiritual Sadhana. Loss of this vital energy is tantamount to practical death. Heavy loss of the vital energy is the cause of desire, miseries and premature death. Therefore take particular care to preserve this vital energy. Keep up Brahmacharya or the vow of celibacy. By the observance of Brahmacharya many of the sages of yore have attained immortality. It is the source of new strength, vigour, vitality and success in life and eternal happiness hereafter.

Whom to blame ...!!!

boy was born to a couple after eleven years of marriage. They were a Loving couple and the boy was the gem of their eyes.
When the boy was around two years old, one morning the husband saw a medicine bottle Open.

He was late for office so he asked his wife to cap the bottle and keep it in the cupboard. His wife, preoccupied in the kitchen totally forgot the matter.

The boy saw the bottle and playfully went to the bottle fascinated by its color and drank it all.

It happened to be a poisonous medicine Meant for adults in small dosages.
When the child collapsed the mother hurried him to the hospital, where he died. The mother was stunned. She was terrified how to face her husband.

When the distraught father came to the hospital and saw the dead child,

The husband's totally unexpected reaction is a proactive behavior.

The Child is dead. He can never be brought back to life.

There is no point in finding fault with the mother. Besides, if only he had taken time to keep the bottle away, this would not have happened.

No one is to be blamed. She had also lost her only child. What she needed at that moment was consolation and sympathy from the husband. That is what he gave her.

If everyone can look at life with this kind of perspective, there would be much fewer problems in the world.

कल यानि २७ मार्च शनिवार को समस्त विश्व "पृथ्वी घंटा - २०१०" मानाने की तैयारी में जुटा है, "पृथ्वी घंटा" अभियान २००७ में सिडनी, आस्ट्रेलिया के करीब २२ लाख परिवारों एवं कारोबारिओं द्वारा एक घंटे के लिए बिजली का उपयोग नहीं कर, वातावरण/जलवायु परिवर्तन के जागरूकता स्वरूप अपना रुख अभिव्यक्त करने के लिए शुरू किया गया| भारत देश में यह अभियान फिछले साल २००९ को शुरू किया गया|

पृथ्वी घंटा 27 मार्च शनिवार को रात्री 8:30 से 9:३० तक होता है| जलवायु में तेजी से हो रहे परिवर्तन के के बचाव स्वरूप यह एक वैश्विक ज़ज्बा बन गया है| आप भी इसमें भाग लें और अपने आस-पास के लोगों में भी इसके प्रति जागरूकता फैलाएं, ये न सोचें की, अरे! १ घंटे बिजली बचा के क्या उखड़ जायेगा, बिजली की इतनी चोरी एवं बर्बादी होती है तो इस एक घंटे से कितना बचया जा सकेगा? सोचे बूंद-बूंद से ही सागर बना है, यदि हम विश्व के समस्त लोग एकजुट हो एकसाथ एक ही कार्य को अंजाम दें तो उसका कितना प्रभावशाली असर सामने आएगा! अभी से ही यह इंतजाम कर लें की कल रात्रि ८:३० से ९:३० तक बिजली का इस्तेमाल नहीं करना है और उसके अनुरूप कोई वैकल्पिक इन्तेजाम भी कर लें ताकि ज्यादा परेशानी न होने पाए|

"हम होंगे कामयाब..." यह गीत हम बचपन से ही बड़ी ही सिद्धत एवं समर्पण से गुनगुनाते आये हैं, यह गीत सुनते ही रोम-रोम प्रफुल्लित हो उठता है, एक अजीब सा ज़ज्बा जग उठता है.... इस गीत से हमारी मिट्टी की खुशबू, संस्कृति, देशभक्ति और एकजुटता छलकती है|

अब तक मैं यही समझता था की इस गीत को "गिरिजाकुमार माथुर" जी ने लिखा है, पिछले दिनों जब मैंने फिल्म "My Name is Khaan" देखा तो उसमें "We Shall Overcome" गीत सुना, लगा अरे ये तो अपना "हम होंगे कामयाब है..." वही बोल, वही धुन, वही का वही ज़ज्बा.... बहुत ही गर्वित महसूस हुआ..... की हमारी धरोहर विदेशों में भी उतनी ही सिद्धत से गाई जाती है, उत्सुकता जगी की इस सम्बन्ध में और जानकारी हासिल करूँ, सो बस लगा गूगलिंग करने...

अरे!... ये क्या ..... "We Shall Overcome ..." तो १९००वीं सदी में फिलाडेल्फिया के 'चार्ल्स अल्बर्ट तिन्डली' द्वारा रचित ईसाई उपदेश (Gospell Music) के अंश हैं| इस गीत का 'अमरीकी सिविल अधिकार आन्दोलन' में 'विरोध गीत' के रूप में खूब इस्तेमाल किया गया था|

खूब कहा है किसी ने की गीत-संगीत की कोई भाषा या मजहब नहीं होती|

These video tutorials are a great tool to improve communication as well as interpersonal skills.

Watch it and practice it to improve also help others to improve. It will be great if you will practise these techniques in group of at least two or better among more...

Wherever we go and we find it very common that in one or other situation we have to communicate with a group of people or have to interact with person to person, communicating with peoples demands us lots of energy and skills which somehow is seen lacking with most of people, large with students and freshers. And it can be overcome by self realisation and interpersonal skills. Remember Nothing is imposible in this world! As Immposible it self states that "Im Possible"

Yes… communication, communication, communication. Every Marketing/Product or People’s Manager will tell you that this is the key to success and who am I to tell you otherwise! It is true! The way you communicate helps other people to form an opinion about you, about your ideas or about a product that you want to sell or buy. It doesn’t matter much if you have great ideas and you can’t transmit them in a effective way. Communication is a two-way process (speaking and listening) and you can’t be an effective communicator if you don’t master both. I came across a website that gives you some tips about communication strategies. Here are my own:

Start by always mention the points in common and accept different opinions by others
Nonverbal communication. What you do and how you do it is as important as your words.
Transmit something that others can find useful. Find what they need and work on it!
Be confident when you speak, being thoughtful but not emotional
Keep different opinions out of the personal level. “Attack” divergent opinions, not the one that represents it
Have a logical and organized presentation and avoid mixing concepts or ideas. Try to be clear and effective

“Remember the five “C’s” of communication – Clarity, Completeness, Conciseness, Concreteness and Correctness.”

This is, in my opinion, one of the best skills a person can have and I have to be honest, “easier said than done”. This is my own personal battle and an ongoing area for development.

९०-१० का सिद्धांत

एक बहुत ही महत्वपूर्ण सूत्र है जो जीवन के प्रति एक नया दृष्टिकोण दे सकता है। "90-10 का सिद्धांत" नाम के इस सूत्र के अनुसार हमारे जीवन में जो घटित होता है उसका मात्र 10 प्रतिशत हमारे हाथ में नहीं होता बाकी का 90 प्रतिशत हमारे हाथ में होता है। इसे एक उदाहरण से समझने का प्रयास करते हैं। आप दफ्तर जाने के लिए तैयार हो रहे हैं। नाश्ते की मेज पर आपकी बेटी ने चाय का प्याला आपकी कमीज पर गिरा दिया, आपने गुस्से में उसे एक चपत लगा दी और साथ ही पत्नी को भी डांट पिला दी कि उसने न तो चाय का प्याला ठीक से रखा न ही बेटी को कोई तमीज सिखाई है। गुस्से में भुनभुनाते हुए आप ऊपर गए कपडे बदल कर जब नीचे आए तो देखा कि रोने के कारण बेटी ने नाश्ता पूरा नहीं किया और उसकी स्कूल बस निकल गई। पत्नी को भी दफ्तर जाना था और क्रोध में वो किसी तरह का सहयोग भी नहीं देना चाहती थी इसलिए बच्ची को स्कूल आपको ही छोडना था। गुस्से में आपने उसे स्कूल छोडा तो आपसे इतनी नाराज थी कि पीछे मुडकर भी नहीं देखा। दफ्तर के लिए पहले ही देर हो चुकी थी इसलिए आपने गाडी की गति बढा दी और ट्रेफिक पुलिस के हत्थे चढ गए। पैसे देकर जैसे तैसे दफ्तर पहुंचे तो याद आया कि ब्रीफकेस तो घर ही भूल आए। एक खराब दिन के बाद जब शाम को घर पहुंचे तो पत्नी और बेटी का मूंड खराब था और आपसे बात करने या आपका स्वागत करने में उनकी कोई रूचि नहीं थी।
इसी घटना को दूसरी तरह देखते हैं। बेटी ने कमीज पर चाय गिरा दी। आप हडबडाए परन्तु तुरन्त ही संभलते हुए आपने घबराई हुई बेटी को प्यार से कहा, " कोई बात नहीं आगे से घ्यान रखना। " जल्दी-जल्दी कपडे बदल कर आप नीचे आए तो देखा आपकी बेटी स्कूल बस में चढ रही है और आपको देखते ही उसने हाथ दिया। आप और आपकी पत्नी मुस्कुराते हुए एक साथ काम पर निकले। समय पर दफ्तर पहुंच कर अपने एक खुशनुमा दिन बिताया। घर लौटे तो बेटी और पत्नी ने मुस्कुराते हुए आपका स्वागत किया। इस घटना में जो 10 प्रतिशत आपके हाथ में नहीं था वो है चाय के प्याले का गिरना बाकी का 90 प्रतिशत अर्थात आपकी प्रतिक्रिया आपके हाथ में थी।
ज्योतिष शास्त्र में इस त्वरित प्रतिक्रिया के लिए केतु एवं सूर्य तथा द्वितीय एवं चतुर्थ भाव की महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका है। दूसरा भाव वाणी का है तथा चौथा भाव हमारे विचार या opinion का है। केतु त्वरित परिणामों के लिए जाने जाते हैं। दूसरे भाव में स्थित केतु त्वरित एवं अत्यधिक खरा बोलने के लिए प्रेरित करते हैं। इसी प्रकार इन भावों में सूर्य की उपस्थिति भी समान परिणाम देती है,
जैसे भारत में अंग्रेजी साम्राज्य की नींव मजबूत करने का श्रेय लार्ड कर्जन को जाता है। अपनी जवान के तीखेपन से ही इन्होंने तत्कालीन नवाबों को निरूत्तर कर दिया था और वकालत के क्षेत्र में राम जेठमलानी ने अपने नाम के झण्डे गाडे हैं। यह त्वरित एवं तीखी टिप्पणियों के लिए सदा मशहूर रहे हैं।
ये द्वितीय भाव स्थित केतु की ही कृपा है। उक्त हस्तियों ने अपने-अपने क्षेत्र में पूर्ण निष्ठा से अपने लिए जगह बनाई, अत: इनके professional field में तीखी टिप्पणियों को भी सर माथे लिया गया। साथ ही इनकी टिप्पणियों में इनका अनुभव, अपने क्षेत्र में इनकी पकड सम्मिलित है। इनकी टिप्पणियां उस कडवी गोली की तरह है जो अंतत: फायदा देती हैं परन्तु व्यक्तित्व निर्माण की प्रक्रिया से गुजरते हुए या निजी रिश्तों में त्वरित एवं तीखी प्रतिक्रिया घातक सिद्ध हो सकती है। यद्यपि यह ग्रह प्रदत्त है परन्तु ग्रहों के इस इशारे को समझ कर तथा उनके आशीर्वाद और अपने प्रयास से हम इससे बच सकते हैं। हमारे हाथ में जो 90 प्रतिशत है, उसका सही प्रयोग ही इस प्रतिस्पर्द्धा के युग में हमें संतुलित व्यक्तित्व प्रदान कर सकता है जो हमें दौड में औरों से आगे ले जाएगा।

I recieved a mail with full of questions, it's speedily circulating on the internet....and here are My humble response for those..... if you agree with me start circulating these response, or some how disagree please provide me with your valuable comments.

I agree with your points, don't feel otherwise though, below is absolutely neutral response to your mail.

Q-1. So far 8 PMs (Nehru, LB Shastri, Indira Gandhi, Charan Singh, Rajiv
Gandhi, VP Singh, Chandra Shekhar, AB Vajpayee) have all come from UP.
WHY they could not develop it since independence?

>Re: The Prime minister work for the Nation "India" and not for the states they belong to, PM can only allot the resources and quotas for the states and then it is the duty and responsibility of the states CM and ministers to look after the development of the states. if a state is making progress the credit for so is to be fully given to the CM of the state..... just like Gujarat and Karnataka.... and at the same time the Credit for the development and advancement of the Country "India" is to be given to the Honorable Prime Minister and the cabinet... you can compare the development of the India since 1947 with that of Pakistan.... so be assured our PM's did well to bring harmony to our Nation "India"....

Q-2. HOW come so called 'communal' CM of Gujarat has been able to achieve
highest rate of growth in the country within a span of 5/6 years but not the
'secular' CMs of UP/Bihar who ruled for more than 15/16 years?

>Re. if you remember the Earth Quake of the Bhuj and Kutchchh, most of the money came from the world bank for the re-development of the states affected by the calamity; a lot of NRI's belong to the state also contributed in surplus for the re-development. Also it's the wrong policy of the Maharashtra state government that majority of the power loom and other Industries boycott Mumbai and other MICD's of the state and moved out to Gujarat and some other states, this move blocked the industrial development of the Maharashtra State... for once the communal parties had also been in the ruling for 5 years in Maharashtra states, why didn't they did what is done in Gujarat by so called communal CM??????

Q-3. UP/Bihar are amongst richest states in terms of natural resources.
WHY then TATAs, BIRLAs or any other industrialists not keen on setting up
large industries there, even though labour is also cheaply available ?

Q-4. Amar Singh of Samajwadi Party always accompanies top celebrities /
industrialists, prominent being Anil Ambani.

Bihar , MP States.

Q-9. Its a fact that where there's money/opportunity, people from different
geo/demography rush-in to make fortunes. Mumbai is one such city.Gujratis,
Marwaris, South Indians, Bengalis, Punjabis, Sindhis flocked to Mumbai for
obvious reasons. Majority of these communities got into skilled,
professional, business areas and prospered, contributing to Mumbai's
success.

However, most of the North Indians resort to and take pride in doing
Unskilled/unlawfull cheap labour such as illegal hawking by occupying every
nook & corner of every footpath, station areas as
vegetable/fruit/sing-chana/bhel-pani puri vendors, or auto/taxi wallas
without licenses. They bribe local authorities and make life of common
people miserable due to congestions and rubbish. They are ruining the tax
payer's money. Of course not to mention about illegal slums. It is absurd to
say that they contributed to Mumbai's development. If anything, they are
retarding/deteriorating Mumbai.

But where are the officials, Municipal Inspectors and politicians?????? What are they doing to impose the law on those illegally setting the business around every possible corner in the city.... most of time they take hafta (Bribe) from these hawkers and let them to work... this is ridicules, but true...... the damn politicians and the bureaucrats.....

CAN our great leaders dare say that Middle-east countries especially Dubai :City
got developed due to laborers from India ?

शाम को करीब ६:३० बजे टी. वी देख रहा था की अचानक युं लग जैसे पलंग हिलने लगा हो, मैंने चौंकते हुए जोर से पुछा, “मम्मी, दीदी भुकम्प आया क्या? अभी एसा लगा जैसे पलंग हिल रहा था कि जैसे भुकंप आ रहा हो!!!!’ मम्मी ने कहा ’नहीं तो एसे ही लगा होगा, कुछ नहीं हुआ, कभी-कभी ऎसा लगता है’। लेकिन मेरे मन में शंका बनी ही रही की नहीं भुकंप तो जरूर ही आया था, पूरा पलंग दाएं-बाएं हिलने लगा था यह एक या उससे भी कम सेकंड के लिये महसुस हुआ। घर में सभी ने कहा की कुछ नहीं हुआ बस एक शन्का ही हुआ होगा। फिर मैंने भी यही सोचा की हो सकता है की वहम ही हो, कभी कभी हाथ हीलाते या उठते बैठते समय अचानक करंट लगने जैसा महसुस होता है तो शायद वैसा ही कुछ आभास हुआ होगा।

फ़िर करीब ८ बजे समचार में बताया गया कि पश्चिमी महाराष्ट्र में रिएक्टर स्केल पर ४.५ के करीब भुकंप के झटके महसुस किये गये हैं…… हे भगवान, सच में भुकंप हि था!!! मेरे तो जैसे होश ही उड गये, समचार में बताये अनुसार यह हल्का सा झटका था इसमें नुकसान की कोइ बडी खबर कहीं से नहीं आयी है। अनुमान से इसका केन्द्र कोयना बान्ध को बताया जा रहा था। संवाददाता नें कहा की मानव अपनें फ़ायदे के लीये प्रकृती से खिलवड करते हैं जिसका खामियाजा भी मानव को ही झेलना पडता है।

इससे पहले लातुर और भुज में आये भुकंप के दौरान भी मुझे हल्के झटके का आभास हुआ था, तब बहुत ही भयंकर तबाही और त्रासदी झेलनी पडी थी यह तो सभी जानते हैं। ईश्वर कि असीम कृपा रही की इस दफ़ा ऎसा कुछ नहीं हुआ।

शादी से पहले ‘स्वास्थ्य कुंडली’ अवश्य मिलाइए

शादी से पहले वर-वधु की कुंडली मिलने की प्रथा तो सदियों से चली आ रही है, इसके साथ ही साथ वर-वधु की स्वास्थ्य-कुंडली मिला लेना भी बेहद ही आवश्यक हो गया है, ऐसा करने से आने वाले पीढी के स्वास्थ्य को बेहतर बनाया जा सकता है| थालेसिमिया और HIV एसे रोग हैं जो की माता-पिता के द्वारा होने वाले बच्चों में फैलाते हैं और बच्चों के भविष्य पर अंकुश लगा जाते हैं| इन्हें जरूर रोका जा सकता जय यदि हमारा समाज इनके प्रति जागरुक हो!!!

थेलेसीमिया (अंग्रेज़ी:Thalassemia) बच्चों को माता-पिता से अनुवांशिकता के तौर पर मिलने वाला जन्मजात अनुवांशिक रक्त-रोग है जिसके कारण तहत शरीर में हीमोग्लोबिन निर्माण प्रक्रिया में गड़बड़ी हो जाती है। इसकी पहचान तीन माह की आयु के बाद ही होती है। इसमें रोगी बच्चे के शरीर में रक्त की भारी कमी होने लगती है, जिसके कारण उसे बार-बार बाहरी खून चढ़ाने की आवश्यकता होती है। यह दो प्रकार का होता है। यदि पैदा होने वाले बच्चे के माता-पिता दोनों के जींस में माइनर थेलेसीमिया होता है, तो बच्चे में मेजर थेलेसीमिया हो सकता है, जो काफी घातक हो सकता है।[१] किन्तु पालकों में से एक ही में माइनर थेलेसीमिया होने पर किसी बच्चे को खतरा नहीं होता। यदि माता-पिता दोनों को माइनर रोग है तब भी बच्चे को यह रोग होने के २५ प्रतिशत संभावना है।। अतः यह अत्यावश्यक है कि विवाह से पहले महिला-पुरुष दोनों अपनी जाँच करा लें।विश्व स्वास्थ्य संगठन के अनुसार भारत देश में हर वर्ष सात से दस हजार थैलीसीमिया पीडि़त बच्चों का जन्म होता है। केवल दिल्ली व राष्ट्रीय राजधानी क्षेत्र में ही यह संख्या करीब १५०० है। भारत की कुल जनसंख्या का ३.४ प्रतिशत भाग थैलेसीमिया ग्रस्त है।[२] इंग्लैंड में केवल ३६० बच्चे इस रोग के शिकार हैं, जबकि पाकिस्तान में १ लाख और भारत में करीब 10 लाख बच्चे इस रोग से ग्रसित हैं।

थैलेसेमिया में आनुवांशिकता का ऑटोसोमल रिसेसिव पैटर्न होता है।

इस रोग का फिलहाल कोई ईलाज नहीं है। हीमोग्लोबीन दो तरह के प्रोटीन से बनता है अल्फा ग्लोबिन और बीटा ग्लोबिन। थैलीसीमिया इन प्रोटीन में ग्लोबिन निर्माण की प्रक्रिया में खराबी होने से होता है। जिसके कारण लाल रक्त कोशिकाएं तेजी से नष्ट होती है। रक्त की भारी कमी होने के कारण रोगी के शरीर में बार-बार रक्त चढ़ाना पड़ता है। रक्त की कमी से हीमोग्लोबिन नहीं बन पाता है[१] एवं बार-बार रक्त चढ़ाने के कारण रोगी के शरीर में अतिरिक्त लौह तत्व जमा होने लगता है, जो हृदय, यकृत और फेफड़ों में पहुँचकर प्राणघातक होता है।[२] मुख्यतः यह रोग दो वर्गों में बांटा गया है:

मेजर थैलेसेमिया:
यह बीमारी उन बच्चों में होने की संभावना अधिक होती है, जिनके माता-पिता दोनों के जींस में थैलीसीमिया होता है। जिसे थैलीसीमिया मेजर कहा जाता है।

थैलेसेमिया:

थैलीसीमिया माइनर उन बच्चों को होता है, जिन्हें प्रभावित जीन माता-पिता दोनों में से किसी एक से प्राप्त होता है। जहां तक बीमारी की जांच की बात है तो सूक्ष्मदर्शी यंत्र पर रक्त जांच के समय लाल रक्त कणों की संख्या में कमी और और उनके आकार में बदलाव की जांच से इस बीमारी को पकड़ा जा सकता है।

पूर्ण रक्तकण गणना (कंपलीट ब्लड काउंट) यानि सीबीसी से रक्ताल्पता या एनीमिया का पता लगाया जाता है। एक अन्य परीक्षण जिसे हीमोग्लोबिन इलैक्ट्रोफोरेसिस कहा जाता है से असामान्य हीमोग्लोबिन का पता लगता है। इसके अलावा म्यूटेशन एनालिसिस टेस्ट (एमएटी) के द्वारा एल्फा थैलीसिमिया की जांच के बारे में जाना जा सकता है। मेरूरज्जा ट्रांसप्लांट से भी इस बीमारी के उपचार में मदद मिलती है।
लक्षण

सूखता चेहरा, लगातार बीमार रहना, वजन ना ब़ढ़ना और इसी तरह के कई लक्षण बच्चों में थेलेसीमिया रोग होने पर दिखाई देते हैं।

बचाव एवं सावधानी

थेलेसीमिया पी‍डि़त के इलाज में काफी बाहरी रक्त चढ़ाने और दवाइयों की आवश्यकता होती है। इस कारण सभी इसका इलाज नहीं करवा पाते,[५] जिससे १२ से १५ वर्ष की आयु में बच्चों की मृत्य हो जाती है। सही इलाज करने पर २५ वर्ष व इससे अधिक जीने की आशा होती है। जैसे-जैसे आयु बढ़ती जाती है, रक्त की जरूरत भी बढ़ती जाती है।

* विवाह से पहले महिला-पुरुष की रक्त की जाँच कराएँ।
* गर्भावस्था के दौरान इसकी जाँच कराएँ
* रोगी की हीमोग्लोबिन ११ या १२ बनाए रखने की कोशिश करें
* समय पर दवाइयाँ लें और इलाज पूरा लें।

विवाह पूर्व जांच को प्रेरित करने हेतु एक स्वास्थ्य कुण्डली का निर्माण किया गया है, जिसे विवाह पूर्व वर-वधु को अपनी जन्म कुण्डली के साथ साथ मिलवाना चाहिये। स्वास्थ्य कुंडली में कुछ जांच की जाती है, जिससे शादी के बंधन में बंधने वाले जोड़े यह जान सकें कि उनका स्वास्थ्य एक दूसरे के अनुकूल है या नहीं। स्वास्थ्य कुंडली के तहत सबसे पहली जांच थैलीसीमिया की होगी। एचआईवी, हेपाटाइटिस बी और सी। इसके अलावा उनके रक्त की तुलना भी की जाएगी और रक्त में RH फैक्टर की भी जांच की जाएगी।

इस प्रकार के रोगियों के लिए कितनी ही संस्थायें रक्त प्रबंध कराती हैं। इसके अलावा बहुत से रक्तदान आतुर सज्जन तत्पर रहते हैं।

शोध और विकास

थैलेसीमिया पर विश्व भर में शोध अनुसंधान अन्वरत जारी हैं। इन प्रयासों से ही थैलीसीमिया पीड़ितों के लिए एक दवाई अविष्कृत हुई थी। इस दवाई से बच्चों को अब इंजेक्शन के दर्द को नहीं झेलना पड़ेगा। जल्दी ही भारतीय बाजार में ये दवा आने वाली है, जिसे खाने से ही शरीर में लौह मात्रा नियंत्रित हो जाएगी। असुरां नाम की यह दवा पश्चिमी देशों में एक्स जेड नाम से पहले से ही प्रयोग हो रही है। इससे इलाज का खर्च भी कम हो जाएगा, किंतु इसके दुष्प्रभावों (साइड एफ़ेक्ट्स) में इससे किडनी प्रभावित होने का एक परसेंट खतरा बना रहता है। दिल्ली के गंगाराम अस्पताल के थैलीसीमिया इकाई के अध्यक्ष डॉ. वीरेंद खन्ना के अनुसार[२] भारत में अतिरिक्त लौह निकालने के लिए दो तरीके प्रचलन में हैं। पहले तरीके में डेसोरॉल (इंजेक्शन) के जरिए आठ से दस घण्टे तक लौह निकाला जाता है। यह प्रक्रिया बहुत महंगी और कष्टदायक होती है। इसमें प्रयोग होने वाले एक इंजेक्शन की कीमत १६४ रुपए होती है। इस प्रक्रिया में हर साल पचास हजार से डेढ़ लाख रुपए तक खर्च आता है। दूसरी प्रक्रिया में कैलफर नामक दवा(कैप्सूल) दी जाती है। यह दवा सस्ती तो है लेकिन इसका इस्तेमाल करने वाले ३० प्रतिशत रोगियों को जोड़ों में दर्द की समस्या हो जाती है। साथ ही इनमें से एक प्रतिशत बच्चे गंभीर बीमारियों की चपेट में आ जाते हैं। ऐसे में नई दवा असुरां काफ़ी लाभदायक होगी। यह दवा फलों के रस के साथ मिलाकर पिलाई जाती है और इसकी कीमत १०० रुपये प्रति डोज है।

मेरु रज्जू ट्रांस्प्लांट

थैलेसीमिया के लिये स्टेम सेल से उपचार की भी संभावनाएं हैं। इसके अलावा इस रोग के रोगियों के मेरु रज्जु (बोन मैरो) ट्रांस्प्लांट हेतु अब भारत में भी बोनमैरो डोनर रजिस्ट्री खुल गई है।[१०] मैरो डोनर रजिस्ट्री इंडिया (एम.डी.आर.आई) में बोनमैरो दान करने वालों के बारे में सभी आवश्यक जानकारियां होगी जिससे देश के ही नहीं वरन विदेश से इलाज के लिए भारत आने वाले रोगियों का भी आसानी से उपचार हो सकेगा। यह केंद्र मुंबई में स्थापित किया जाएगा। ऐसे केंद्र वर्तमान में केवल अमेरिका, ब्रिटेन और कनाडा जैसे देशो में ही थे। ल्यूकेमिया और थैलीसीमिया के रोगी अब बोनमैरो या स्टेम सेल प्राप्त करने के लिए इस केंद्र से संपर्क कर मेरुरज्जु दान करने वालों के बारे में जानकारी के अलावा उनके रक्त तथा लार के नमूनों की जांच रिपोर्ट की जानकारी भी ले पाएंगे। जल्दी ही इसकी शाखाएं महानगरों में भी खुलने की योजना है।

थालेसिमिया के आलावा HIV भी माता-पिता में से किसी एक यो दोनों के द्वारा होने वाले बच्चों में फैलता है| अतः यह बेहद ही जरूरी होता है की शादी से पहले दोनों जोड़े अपना-अपना स्वास्थ्य परिक्षण जरूर करावा लें, इससे आने वाले पीढी के स्वास्थ्य सुनिश्चित हो जाता है|

महाराष्ट्र विधानसभा का चुनाव कल दिनांक १३ अक्टूबर २००९ को होना है, जनता को फिर एक बार अपने मताधिकार का उपयोग कर सरकार गठन करने का जिम्मा मिला है| अब सोचने योग्य बात यह है की कौन है जो जनता के आशाओं और जरूरतों को पूरा कर सकने में सक्षम होगा! किस आधार पर किसी उम्मीदवार को अपना वोट देकर उसकी जीत को करना चाहिए? क्या किसी एक पार्टी विशेष को ध्यान में रख कर उसी पार्टी के उम्मीद वर को वोट दें, या फिर उम्मीदवार की योग्यता, कर्मठता एवं साफ सुथरी छवि को तवज्जो देना चाहिए चाहे वो किसी भी पार्टी विशेष का हो या फिर कोई निर्दलीय ही क्यों न हो! क्या हमने और आपने कभी अपने क्षेत्र के उम्मीदवारों के बारे में जानना चाह की कौन कितना योग्य है? मतदान करना हमारी नैतिक जिमेद्दारी है या महज एक औपचारिकता?

किन मुद्दों को ध्यान में रख कर आप अपनें मताधिकार का उपयोग करेंगे? क्षेत्रवाद, भाषावाद, धर्मवाद, जातिवाद या फिर अपने क्षेत्र के विकास, रोजगार, आर्थिक तंगी, सुरक्षा और सुख शांति को ध्यान में रखना सही होगा? सोचिये, चिंतन करिए की हम क्या चाहते है, और हम जो हम चाहते हैं वो हमें कौन दिला सकता है?

महाराष्ट्र विधान सभा चुनाव के मद्देनज़र किसी पार्टी नें या किसी उम्मीदवार नें आपको विकास का वादा किया या फिर आपके भावनाओं को भड़का कर आपसे क्षेत्रवाद, भाषावाद, धर्मवाद, जातिवाद के आधार पर आपसे अपने लिए मत माँगा? आप सोचिये आप के लिए कौन से मुद्दे जरूरी हैं, और उसी आधार पर अपनें मताधिकार का सदुपयोग करें!!!

खुद जाकर मतदान करें तथा औरों को भी प्रेरित करें!!!

विजयादशमी के दिन दुर्गा माता का रूप धर एक मुस्लिम महिला ने अपने घर में जबरन घुस आए लस्कर के आतंकवादी को अपनी साहस एवं सजगता का परिचय देते हुए कुल्हाडी से वार कर मौत के घाट उतार दिया| दशहरे के अवसर पर, जिसे अधर्म पर धर्म की विजय के स्वरूप जाना जाता है, एक रावण रूपी आतंकी का खात्मा, दुर्गा स्वरूपी एक घरेलु महिला के हाथों होना अपने आप में इस दिन की महिमा को चरितार्थ कर देता है|

'मैने उसके जिस्म पर 12 गोलियां दाग दीं'

रूखसाना को अब अपनी जान का भी ख़तरा है.

जम्मू-कश्मीर के राजौरी ज़िले के काल्सी गाँव में 18 वर्षीय लड़की रुख़साना कौसर ने अद्भुत साहस दिखाते हुए एक चरमपंथी को ढेर कर दिया और दो अन्य को ज़ख्मी कर दिया. बीबीसी से बात करते हुए रूखसाना ने पूरी घटना को इन शब्दों में बयान किया.

"रात को लगभग नौ बजे मेरे दरवाज़े को ज़ोर-ज़ोर से पीटने की आवाज़ें आने लगी. हम लोगों ने दरवाज़ा नहीं खोला. लेकिन जब हमें लगा कि दरवाज़ा तोड़ दिया जाएगा तो मेरे माँ-बाप ने मुझे चारपाई के नीचे छुप जाने के लिए कहा और उन्होंने दरवाज़ा खोल दिया.

हथियार से लैस तीन लोग घर में घुस आए जबकि चार अन्य बाहर दरवाज़े पर ही रह गए. उन्होंने बिना कुछ कहे मेरे माँ-बाप को पीटना शुरू कर दिया. उन्होंने अम्माँ-अब्बा को इस बुरी तरह से पीटा कि वह ज़मीन पर गिर गए.

हम लोगों ने इस इलाक़े में बहुत दिनों से किसी दहशतगर्द को नहीं देखा था... वे इस इलाक़े में लगभग 11 साल बाद आए थे.

मुझसे अपने माँ-बाप की हालत देखी नहीं गई इसलिए मैंने सोचा कि मरने से पहले मुझे बहादुरी के साथ उनका मुक़ाबला करना चाहिए. मेरे माँ-बाप बुरी तरह चीख़ रहे थे और वे लोग उनका मुंह बंद करने के लिए कोई कपड़ा तलाश कर रहे थे.

मैं चारपाई के नीचे से निकल कर बाहर आ गई.

तभी एक दहशतगर्द के बाल मेरे हाथों में आ गए और मैंने ज़ोर से पकड़ कर उसे दीवार से टक्कर दे दी जिससे वह गिर पड़ा और फिर मैंने कुल्हाड़ी से उसपर वार कर दिया जो उसकी गर्दन पर लगा।

जान को ख़तरा

एक दूसरे दहशतगर्द पर कुल्हाड़ी चलाई जो उसके चेहरे पर लगी। किसी तरह मैंने एक आदमी की राइफ़ल छीन ली और बिना रुके गोली चलाती रही। बाद में देखा गया कि उस दहशतगर्द कमांडर के जिस्म पर 12 गोलियाँ लगी थीं।

बकौल रुख़साना "हमने टीवी पर फ़िल्मों में हीरो को बंदूक़ चलाते देखा था और मैं उसी तरह गोली चलाती रही. किसी तरह मुझ में हिम्मत आ गई थी. मैं उस वक़्त तक गोली चलाती रही जबतक कि मैं थक के चूर नहीं हो गई."

उसी बीच एक दहशतगर्द ने गोली चलाई जो मेरे चाचा के बाज़ू को ज़ख्मी करती हुई निकल गई. उसी दौरान मेरे भाई ने भी एक आतंकवादी की राइफ़ल छीन ली और उसने भी गोली चलानी शुरू कर दी थी.

उनसे हमारी लड़ाई काफ़ी देर चलती रही. इससे पहले मैंने कभी राइफ़ल को हाथ भी नहीं लगाया था उसे चलाना तो दूर की बात थी.

लेकिन हमने टीवी पर फ़िल्मों में हीरो को बंदूक़ चलाते देखा था और मैं उसी तरह गोली चलाती रही. किसी तरह मुझ में हिम्मत आ गई थी. मैं उस वक़्त तक गोली चलाती रही जब तक कि मैं थक के चूर नहीं हो गई.

उन्होंने मेरी माँ से सिर्फ़ मेरा नाम पूछा था.

ये चरमपंथी रूखसाना की गोली का शिकार बना.

इस लड़ाई में दो और दहशतगर्द ज़ख़्मी हुए, उनके चहरे पर कुल्हाड़ी के वार के साथ मुझे लगता है कि गोली भी लगी थी. मेरे हिसाब से उसका ज़िंदा बचना मुश्किल है.

ऐसा लगता है कि अल्लाह ने मुझे इस मुसीबत की घड़ी में इतनी हिम्मत दी कि मैं उन दहशतगर्दों का मुक़ाबला कर पाई. लेकिन मुझे डर है कि वे लोग इस घटना के बाद मुझे नहीं छोड़ेंगे. ये उनके लिए बड़ी शर्म की बात है कि उनका एक कमांडर इस लड़ाई में मारा गया.

हालांकि पुलिस ने मेरे घर के पास एक पिकेट बना दिया है और उन्होंने पूरी सुरक्षा का यक़ीन भी दिलाया है लेकिन अब हमारा इस गांव में रहना मुश्किल है. उन्हें चाहिए कि हमें राजौरी के शहर या किसी दूसरी महफ़ूज़ जगह भेज दें.

क्या भारत वास्तविकता में एक धर्मनिरपेक्ष एवं लोकतंत्र देश बन पाया है?

भारतीय सभ्यता कई-कई हज़ार वर्ष पुरानी है, प्राचीनतम काल से ही संसार के दुसरे कोनों से जाने कितनी ही सभ्यता भ्रमण करते हुए भारत वर्ष में आईं और यहाँ की आबो-हवा में रच बस गईं और यहीं की हो गईं| भारतीय संस्कृति कुछ इसी ही प्रकार से फलती फूलती रही है| ईतिहासकारों के मान्यतानुसार कई हज़ार वर्ष पहले आर्य कहीं पश्चिम से भारतीय धारा पर आए और यहाँ के मूल निवासी द्रविड़ को दक्षिण भारत में खदेड़ कर उत्तरी भारत में बस गए और भारतीय संस्कृति में नया आयाम स्थापित किया|

इसी तरह कई जातियाँ-प्रजातियाँ यहाँ आती और यहीं रचती-बसती गई| फिर मुगल आए यहाँ के शासकों को युद्ध में पराजित कर भारतवर्ष में अपना साम्राज्य फैला लिया, कुछ सौ उनका साम्राज्य भारत वर्ष पर चला, उनकी संस्कृति यहाँ की संस्कृति में घुल मिल गयी, ऊर्दू भाषा इसी सांस्कृतिक मिलन की ऊपज है| फिर अंग्रेज आए व्यापर करते करते भारत देश को गुलाम बना कर शासन कराने लगे और अपनी अंग्रेजियत यहाँ की संस्कृति में घोलने लगे|

फिर अंग्रेजों की चंगुल से हिंदुस्तान की आज़ादी का दौर शुरू हुआ, लगभग एक पुरी सदी भले ही लग गई, आज़ादी का ये जूनून रंग लाया और अंग्रेजी तानाशाही को भारतवर्ष से पलायन करने पर विवस कर दिया| आज़ादी के उस जंग में हिस्सा लेने वाला हरएक क्रन्तिकारी सभी धर्म और मजहब से कहीं ऊपर हिन्दुस्तानी सिर्फ़ हिन्दुस्तानी ही रहा होगा| ऐसी एकजुटता, ऐसी सामंजस्यता , ऐसी दीवानगी एवं जूनून ऐसा देशप्रेम भारतीय संस्कृति ने शायद पहली बार ही देखी होगी! उस द्दौर में एक ही धर्म रहा होगा और वह यकीनन भारतीयता ही रही होगी....

परन्तु जिस आज़ादी की जूनून नें भिन्न-भिन्न धर्म एवं साम्प्रदाय के लोगों को भारतीयता के एक ही रंग में रंग दिया था, जूनून पुरा होते ही, आज़ादी मिलते ही भारतीय जनमानस के ह्रदय में बहने वाला वह रंग कुछ यूँ फीका पड़ा की आजादी के ६ दसक बीत जाने के बाद भी बेरंग ही बना हुआ है| दुनिया का अपने आप में एकलौता राष्ट्र जो धर्मनिरपेक्षता की दुहाई देता है, साम्प्रदायीकता एवं धार्मिक कट्टरवाद के चंगुल में ऐसा जकड गया है की सदियों बाद भी न छुट सके| परंती ऐसा नहीं है की सभी धर्मान्धता के चंगुल में फंसे हुए है, आज के दौर में जहाँ एक जमात कट्टर्वादों की है तो वहीं उदारनीति के समर्थकों की भी कमीं नहीं है| परंती कट्टरपंथी चाहे वे किसिस्भी धर्म या मजहब के हों वे उदारपंथ के मानाने वालों पर कहीं न कहीं भरी पड़ ही जाते हैं जिसके परिणाम स्वरूप साम्प्रदायीक वैमनस्व सर उठाने लगता है और समय समय पर देश की संप्रभुता को आघात पहुंचाते रहता है|

आप मेसे कुछ यह सोच रहे होंगे की अरे १५ अगस्त या २६ जनवरी तो बीत चुका है, फिर इस चिठ्ठाकार को क्या हो गया है जो असमय ही भारतीय अस्मिता की दुहाई रटे जा रहा है!!! तो जनाब ये सब अकारण ही नहीं है, और हमारी यही मानसिकता कि केवल १५ अगस्त या २६ जनवरी या एसे ही कुछ एक ख़ास अवसर पर ही देश प्रेम की चर्चा करना उचित होगा हमें जकडे रखा है और हमारी आज़ादी नाम मात्र ही रह गई है|

अच्छा तो मैं बताता हुं कि मुझे असमय यह सारी बातें क्यों करनी पड़ रही है.... Google Groups के "Hindi Bhasha" group में मैंने नवरात्र एवं ईद कि बधाई हेतु हिन्दी भाषा ग्रुप के मित्रों को इ-मेल लिखा जिस पर एक सज्जन को आपत्ति हुई और उन्होंने अपनी अभिव्यक्ति कर विरोध जताया, जिसका पुरा वाक्य निचे ऊद्धृत कर रहा हूँ...

मैंने निम्नलिखित बधाई संदेश भेजा...

आपकी वतनपरस्ती एवं उससे जुडी चिंता के लिये आपको सलाम!!!

आपकी चिंता एवं उसके उपलक्ष्य में आपने जो ताजमहल एवं सडकों पर भीड़ वाली बात कही है मैं भी उससे इत्तेफाक रखता हूँ| परन्तु १५ अगस्त एवं २६ जनवरी में इकठ्ठे भीड़ में से आप किसी हिन्दू, मुस्लिम या किसी ईसाई को पृथक कैसे कर पायेंगे? क्या ऐसा कोई चस्मा है? क्या कहीं भीड़ के आंकड़े निर्दिष्ट किये हुए है? या हम बस ऐसा मान लेते है और अपने मन में अवधारणा बना लेते है|

जब आप ताजमहल एवं सडकों पर भीड़ वाली बात करते हैं, तब शायद आप यह भूल जाते है या यूँ कहे की नजरअंदाज कर देते है की उससे कहीं कहीं ज्यादा भीड़ मुंबई एवं अन्य जगहों पर गणेश पंडालों में गणेश जी के दर्शन के लिए उमड़ती है तथा चतुर्दशी के दिन गणेश विसर्जन करने आये श्रध्हलुओं की होती है, जिसे संभालना प्रशासन के लोगों के लिए सिरदर्द बन जाता है| मुंबई के जन्माष्टमी को भी शायद आप भूल गए जिसमे इस बार swine flu के संक्रमण के भय के बावजूद भी भारी भीड़ उमड़ पड़ी थी| एसे और भी कई उधाहरण मैं प्रस्तुत कर सकता हूँ जैसे कुम्भ का मेला ईत्यादी| क्या आपने कभी क्रिकेट मैच में जुटे भीड़ को उनके जाती-धर्म के आधार पर आंकने की कोशिश की है?

आज भारत देश एक धर्म निरपेक्ष देश के रूप में अपनी संप्रभुता बना चुका है.... और भारतीय संविधान ने सभी धर्मों को उनकी संप्रभुता और स्वतंत्रता बनाये रखने का पुर-पूरा अधिकार दिया है|
और इसपर न ही आप ना ही मैं और ना ही कोई और प्रश्न उठा सकता है|

और रही "इंडियन मुजाहिद्दीन" के ५ सालों में हिन्दुओं का नामों निशां मिटाने की तो उसके लिए आप निश्चिंत रहें.... ऐसी कोशिशे सदियों से होती आ रही हैं पर सदा ही नाकाम भी होती रही हैं!!! भारतीय संस्कृति इतनी उदार और परिपक्कव है की यह सभी को अपने में समाहित कर लेती है!!!

कोई भी जागरूक माता-पिता अपने बच्चों को पोलियो टिका से वांच्छित नहीं रखेंगे .... और यदि कोई रखता है तो मैं समझता हूँ वे नासमझ हैं, उन्हें जागरुक बनाने की जरुरत है| इसे धर्म-जाती के आधार से देखना मुझे तर्क सांगत लगता है| और यदि कोई धार्मिक गुरु पोलियो टिका न देने की सलाह या फतवा देता है तो मैं इसे धर्मान्धता और अज्ञानता ही कहूँगा|

परिवारनियोजन एक गंभीर मुद्दा है, जिस तरह जनसँख्या विस्फोट हो रहा है यह निकट भविष्य के लिए बहुत ही बड़ी समस्या बनता जा रहा है| पर मैं फिर कहना चाहूँगा इस विषय को भी एक रंग के चश्मे से न देखें| आपको केवल मुस्लिम परिवार ही नहीं अपितु हर धर्म के परिवार मिल जायेंगे जो बच्चों को ईश्वर का रूप कहते हैं और परिवार नियोजन के नाम से कन्नी काटते हैं| मैंने एक हिन्दू धर्मगुरु (किसी का नाम नहीं लेना चाहूँगा) के पुस्तक में उन्हें यह सन्देश देते पाया है की भारत देश में हिन्दुओं की संख्या बढाइये सरकार के परिवार नियोजन को तवज्जो न दें? इसके बारे में आप क्या कहेंगे??? मैं तो इसे धर्मान्धता ही कहूँगा फिर चाहे कोई भी धर्म गुरु ऐसा क्यों न कहे|

रही भारतीय नागरिकता की बात, तो भाईजी, तो जो मुस्लिम खुद को भारतीय या हिन्दुस्तानी कहलाना पसंद नहीं करते थे (या जैसी भी परिस्थिति रही हो) १९४७ में ही भारत छोड़ चले गए थे| और जो देश छोड़ कर नहीं गए यहीं रह गए आप उन्हें देशप्रेमी कहने के बजाय उन्हें एक विशेष रंग के चश्में से देख रहे हैं!!! यह कहाँ तक तर्कसंगत है??? आप यह भूल जाते हैं की मुस्लिमों के आलावा कुछ गैर मुस्लिम (हिन्दू, सिख एवं अन्य) १९४७ में भारत नहीं आये थे और जहां थे वहीँ बसे रहे, उन्हें अपनी जन्मभूमि से प्रेम था चाहे अब वह अखंड भारत देश का हिस्सा न रहा हो| उनका मैं सम्मान करता हूँ| और जो मुस्लिम यहाँ रह गए हैं उनका भी सम्मान करता हूँ|

कृपया हमारे राजनीतिज्ञों एवं तथाकथित कट्टरपंथीयों की तरह अखंड भारत देश को जाती-धर्म के चश्में से मत देखें| कम से कम मैं इतना कह ही सकता हुं की मेरे जितने भी गैर हिन्दू मित्र या जानने वाले लोग हैं वे मुझे हर हिंन्दु धार्मिक त्योहारों की शुभकामना के साथ साथ स्वतंत्रता दिवस एवं गणतंत्र दिवस की बधाई देते है| और मैं इसी पर विश्वास करता हुं| और तो और कुछ तो मेरे साथ मंदिरों में आकर प्रार्थना करने में जरा भी संकोच नहीं करते| और मैं स्वयं भी दरगाहों, मजारों, गिरिजाघरों में उसी श्रध्दा से जाता हूँ जैसे की मंदिरों में|

अंत में मैं यह भी कहना चाहूँगा की बिना आग के धुआं नहीं निकलता, कुछ चंद मुठ्ठी भर एसे लोग भी यकीनन हैं जो भारत देश की संप्रभुता को क्षति पहुँचाने में जुटे हुए हैं और लगातार प्रयास करते रह रहे हैं, जिस कारण हमें अक्सर कई आतंकवादी हमलों एवं सांप्रदायिक तनाव का सामना करना पड जाता है| परन्तु किसी परिवार के रसोई घर के चूल्हे में लगी आग से निकले धुएँ को किसी आतंकी हमले में हुए विस्फोटों का धुंआ समझ लेना कितना तर्कसंगत है???

मैं किसी के भावना को आघात पहुँचाना नहीं चाहता, और यदि जाने अनजाने ऐसा कुछ हुआ हो तो क्षमा प्रार्थी हुं!!!

आखिर इससे क्या साबित किया जा रहा है ?
कही यह हिंदुस्तान में तालिबान की संरचना का एक अंग तो नहीं ?
हिन्दुओ के धार्मिक आयोजनों के लिए प्रशासनिक अनुमति की अनिवार्यता , इनके लिए कोई कानून नहीं ?

ये सब होता रहा और प्रशासन मूक बनकर देखता रहा .

हिंदुस्तान को पाकिस्तान , साउदी अरब बनने से रोकने के लिए हमे ऐसे आयोजनों (कट्टरता) का विरोध करना होगा अन्यथा वह समय दूर नहीं जब रोज नमाज के समय हमे अपने घरो में ही रहना पड़ेगा .

मुस्लिमों नें रेलगाडी में नमाज़ क्या पढ़ लिया, साम्प्रदायीक मुद्दा बन समाचार पत्रों की एवं चिठ्ठाजगत की सुर्खियाँ बन बैठीं... क्या अपने ईश्वर की स्तुति करना जेहाद कहलाता है.....

क्या कभी किसी पत्रकार नें नवरात्रि, दशहरा, दीपावली के दौरान कभी भी रेलगाडी में सफर नहीं किया....? यकीनन नहीं ही किया होगा.... शायद इसीलिए हिन्दू यात्रियों द्बारा रेलगाडी में हिन्दू धार्मिक त्यौहार जोर-शोर एवं हर्षोल्हास के साथ मनाने की खबर भी किसी न किसी अखबार में जरूर छपती..... पत्रकारिता की ऐसी व्यवसायीकरण एवं तथाकथित कट्टरवाद ने ही भारतवर्ष को साम्प्रदायीक तनावों में उलझाए रखा है!!!

बस अब और ज्यादा नहीं लिखा सकता.... निन्द्रासन में जाना भी जरूरी हो रहा है....

Just a little joke for a tongue-in-cheek view of the situation— still proud to be an Indian inspite of everything.

During the Cold War, if USA launched a nuke-loaded missile, Soviet satellites would inform the Soviet army in 3 seconds and in less than 5 seconds Soviet counter-missiles would be on their way.

This was their scenario……………..

But if there is a nuclear war between India and Pakistan:

The Pakistan army decides to launch a nuke-missile towards India.
They don’t need any permission from their Government, and promptly order the countdowns.
Indian technology is highly advanced. In less than 8 seconds, Indian army detects the Pak Countdown and decides to launch a missile in retribution.
But they need permission from the Government of India. They submit their request to the Indian President. The President forwards it to the Cabinet.
The Prime Minister calls an emergency Lok Sabha session. The LS meets, but due to several walkouts and severe protests by the opposition, it gets adjourned and adjourned indefinitely.
The President asks for a quick decision.
In the mean time, the Pak missile failed to take off due to technical failure. Their attempts for a relaunch are still on.
Just then the Indian ruling party is reduced to a minority because a party that was giving outside support withdraws it.
The President asks the PM to prove his majority within a week.
As the ruling party fails to win the confidence vote, a caretaker government is installed.
The caretaker PM decides to permit the armed forces to launch a nuclear missile. But the Election Commission says that a caretaker government can not take such a decision because elections are at hand.
A Public Interest Litigation is filed in the Supreme Court alleging misuse of power by the Election Commission.
The Supreme Court comes to the rescue of the PM, and says the acting PM is authorized to take this decision in view of the emergency facing the nation.
Just then one of the Pak missiles successfully took off, but it fell 367 miles away from the target, on its own government building at 11.00AM.
Fortunately there were no casualties as no employee had reached the office that early.
In any case, the nuclear core of the missile had detached somewhere in flight.
The Pakistan army is now trying to get better technologies from China and USA.
The Indian Government, taking no chances, decides to launch a nuclear missile of its own, after convening an all-party meeting.
This time all the parties agree.
Its three months since the army had sought permission. But as preparations begin, “pro-humanity”, “anti-nuclear” activists come out against the Government’s decision.
Human chains are formed and Rasta rokos organised.
In California and Washington endless e-mails are sent to Indians condemning the government and mentioning “Please forward it to as many Indians as possible”.
On the Pakistan side, the missiles kept malfunctioning. Some missiles deviate from target due to technical failures or high-speed wind blowing over Rajasthan.
Many of them land in the Indian Ocean killing some fishes.
A missile (smuggled from USA) is pressed into service. Since the Pakistan army is unable to understand its software, it hits its original destination: Russia .
Russia successfully intercepts the missile and in retaliation launches a nuclear missile towards Islamabad.
The missile hits the target and creates havoc.
Pakistan cries for help. India expresses deep regrets for what has happened and sends in a million dollars worth of Parle-G biscuits.
Thus India never gets to launch the missile.
Pakistan never gets it right.
And we live happily ever after!!!!

We all have the right to Information, but we are stupidly overlooking this weapon and only blaming to the Government, Bureaucrats, Administration, Police, Celebrities and all others we can think of, but we just forget our own self, we forget that we also are the integral part of this nation and we also bear some responsibility towards the motherland.

There is a saying / quotes -- "Don't ask what Nation has does for me, Instead think what I can do for the Nation"

If every individual residing in INDIA starts feeling and discharging the very own basic responsibilities towards the nation; we will definitely prosper and never ever suffer like what we are with now… feel the sense of responsibility towards the nation.

So dear fellow citizen, STOP BLAMING others…

Why not Come across on your own feet and Start taking the required initiatives and measure yourselves. Use your basic right and start getting follow ups from the administration…… if we all seek in unity they will become helpless and have to respond for the same.

Every time we do protest against some authority, political parties call Strikes, Dharana’s, Bandh’s, Walk-outs from the Parliament; and soon after all forget the issue and get involved in the daily hectic routine to earn money and other schedules; and nothing happens to the system and it goes on and on…..

These all now really needs to change for the better future and safety of the NATION and each and every individual residing/visiting the country.

So be first to serve for the NATION!!!

Don’t wait for the others, to throw water on your burning home…!!!

On Monday night, December 1, 2008, The calm sky was bearing a beautiful smile due to, Venus, Jupiter and moon combined together to create a celestial smiley face a rare treat from the heavens.

I also showed it to my colleagues at the office, all enjoyed watching it...

Also want to throw the SHAME on all the corrupt - Politicians, Bureaucrats, Officers and all who can do anything just for the sake of MONEY, without thinking if it is at the coast of the NATION's security,.

To all the news channels and other media, Thank for All your Commitment and gutts keeping us informing the second by second coverage of the Terror Attack.

But One thing which made me feel sad about our media, is the Introduction to this Terror attack, all the news channel has referred it as "9/11 of INDIA", What is this? Can't we have our own nomenclature for the happenings in our own country? Are we all dependent on the US so much to borrow every single things from them? even Heading like this??? What is this, Common Professionals... Be Your own, Think Your own, Be innovative... don't copy, Please... else you all did remarkable job. Hat's off to you all as well.

Also, Want to know where were all the Politicians including all the Political Parties, Regional or National and The Neutral's who were Shouting that they are the only care taker of the MUMBAI city and the MUMBAIKAR's, Specially the "RAJ Thackeray", where were they have been hidden for those 60 Crucial HOURS and yet up till now. Where all their ROARS gone for now. Where were All the MNS's Karyakatas and Shivsainiks, So called Maratha Warriors!

Dear Mumbaikars and all the Citizen of INDIA, Please wake up even for now! Don't blindly listen and follow these useless Politicians. Use your own brain to take any actions. It is our pity! that we have to have vote for these politicians and don't have any option to Condemn to vote to all the Political candidates, Many Uneducated or Under Educated to run the nation, Many Gunda's, Many Having Blood relation's to Powerful Politicians!!! But to elect any strong and educated Personality of our own choice without being nominated for the election, say like I want to elect Mr. Bachchan himself even he has not nominated himself. So that, one shall be able to vote to the person s\he wants to be whether s\he is nominated or not. This option shall certainly make the Corrupt Politician worry of their political career and they might get the lesson. Mumbai in grip of terrorists!!!

If only,….!!!

From a very young age, I had been brought up in very peaceful circumstances. And trust most of you would have been as well. The last three days of battle here, right at the heart of the commercial capital of India has just about squashed any hopes we would have had in bringing up our children much the same way how we were brought up. And dare I say, more such instances to follow!

I may be punished for my impunity, but I have to look back at the series of events. Why did 154 innocent civilians have to ever lose their lives? Why was a young major made to cut his career when he was in the line of duty, when he could have done much more for the nation, and importantly his family? Miles away from all the mindless action, my mind asks me this question, “If Only..”

If only had our Coastal Guard services had been more alert, the terrorists would not have been able to sneak in.

If only had our dearest Prime Minister (pun intended) had the prudent guts to punish every act of terrorism that has jolted this country of ours!

If only had Afzal Guru been hanged to death when he was found guilty, we would not have been portrayed as a soft state on terrorism, which we are.

If only had 520 parliamentarians been killed in the 2001 attack, we would have seen a completely different India now. The government would have been hassled then to take actions to prevent terrorism from killing our civilians.

As I speak, our Government has reacted by asking the Pakistani government to send over the ISI chief to Delhi. And by the time I finish with this, I am sure the Pakistani government would shoot down this proposal. If only, our Government has the guts to cross the line and puncture the thousand and more terrorist camps functioning near Muzaffarabad, Faridkot and other places, it could eliminate a part of the problem.

And the list of if only continues. I am not a politician, and thus would leave the dirty words to be spoken by them. Admirably though, no such political comments have come out thus far. But knowing our politicians, it is a matter of sooner than later.

I am pained at seeing an empty Churchgate station. I am pained at seeing Mumbaikars stopping at the sound of the smallest thud! I am pained when I see so many families weeping over the loss of their near and dear ones. If only, our politicians can see through what is going in their minds.

If only, my appeal goes out to them, which I know won’t and even if it does, consider a blind eye turned, I would request action to be taken. I know this sounds cliché, but facts cannot be ignored. 40 terrorists came in to Mumbai, as per the confession of the arrested terrorist. As per NSG reports, 10 or thereabout terrorists have been slain and 1 arrested.

Rather than claiming victory over terror only to bolster their vote bank, if only the government realizes that about 29 terrorists are still on the loose. If only the government does take some action to quickly nab the culprits, we may not see a repeat of 26-11.

If only…

So, Barack Obama has marked his presence in the HISTORY, by winning the PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION of United States. It took US centuries to show the great heart, to elect a coloured “First person” of the nation. But above all it is the United States of America which won today – at least the hearts of millions like me all over the world today. America has shown that it has in it to finally given respect to a black person at the highest level possible and this surely will change the world history forever…

BUT INDIA has made her Third “FIRST PERSON” The President of Republic of INDIA “Dr. Zakir Hussain”, Fifth “Dr. Fakhruddin Ali Ahmed ” and Eleventh President “Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam” a Muslim, a Minority!!! This is the Culture of the INDIA, and this is the Spirit what bind us to be an UNION. This is our democracy, and that’s US, which took Centuries to elect a coloured, but the NATIVE AMERICAN is still awaiting to mark his\her presence to the White House. This is the Difference between Two.

OBAMA has a charismatic Persona… Very First time when I saw him on a news channel as a candidate for the Presidential Election of the US, for no reason, but I liked him to be President of the US. May be his charismatic personality made me think like that. And now he has been elected by the US Nation. And the Entire world is appreciating his victory. Hope that he will be able to make the world change by his efforts, one day …!.I haven’t celebrated the victory of any of the Indian leaders in my adult life, all of them have been Uncommitted, Visionless and embarrassing, but I celebrated Barrack Obama’s victory. A lot of anger and frustration inside me against America and its history melted away today ……. Because millions of souls of uncle tom would be in peace today.

We the INDIANS also need such charismatic Leader who will be able to change the face of the Nation, I Wish “Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam” will become our next Prime Minister, he has the guts and all the qualities to accelerate the Young Generation to the Right Direction, He Have a vast Number of Followers, which includes me as well. Person like him deserves to be the Prime Minister, but alas! I couldn’t help the wonder, when would we Indians stop having shameful and spineless creatures ruling us at the top, most of who don’t even know how to speak and those few who do speak such utter rubbish and visionless garbage that stinks! When we will get an Educated, Committed and Inspiring leader who will tell us we can and we feel like giving our lives for him. I even pity Mayawati who has taken the advantage of her caste to seek the prime minister chair.

I must even say that, Amitabh Bachchan, also strongly deserve to be The Prime Minister of the Nation, he really will be able to rule the nation in a very unique way. He really have the Magical energy to diversify the nation!!! But this is NATION’s misfortune that he chose to be out from the Politics at its very early stage.

HOPE our nation also will have someone who will change the Entire Country…..

Once, media (radio/print) were meant for informing the people about happenings across the national and international. During the time of the freedom struggle, this medium was best utilised by the freedom fighters to spread their messages among the mass, and attract as much crowd as possible to take part in the great effort they were doing to get the country free from the British Ruling. This medium was created with the great intention, and it was to inform the public with the Information about recent and important events happening across the world around.

But, today the news channels and the newspapers are all meant for the profit making and revenue generating means for all the personnel's involved in the business. It has just become a mere profit making business. They just don't care of the people being affected by the wrong interpretation by them.

Few months ago, there were the case of Arushi's murder, and our so-called responsible media did all the effort to utilise their power of journalism to fetch the TRP by showing that all the time on the air and interpreting every lead now and then. and now, all the person who were interrogated and detained on remand by the Police and as well as by the CBI were got the clean chit from the court, because there is not a single evidence to prove them guilty. With no Evidence, this case was followed with so much propaganda spread by the media.

This is true that, we all are working hard to make money for meeting our the daily means, but there must be true and fair way to make the money. Not by humiliating somebody and showing it on the air all the time and creating the absurd news. People in media should have to understand their responsibility and must act in a respectful manner towards every citizens.

Blast in Delhi, a shameful deed!

May lord Ganesh Heal all who suffered by the Blast and Lost their loved and dear. No compensation, by any means would compensate their loss.

May lord Ganesh heal all the culprit/infected minds with love and peace.

Why the hell they do not realise that the people who suffer with the cause of all what they plant to spread panic and terror among them, can be from any religion, some of them can be Muslim as well, so why to make them suffer, But Yes, the terrorist don't have any religion, so why the hell they think of any bodies well being, they are just a blind and dumb to do the things as directed by their AKA's.

Oh God! when will all this come to an end on this Holy Land.
When do we will be living without any terror of all this happening here and there.

I watched the RKB show on Sahara news channel This Morning, Rahul Bajaj was interviewing Mr. Saleem, Regarding the Fatawa issued on him by some Maulwi.
Saleem sahab said, "Islam states that do not kill the innocent people, women, children even in the war like situation or in the war. Every Religion are the same, The Lord is same." he explained everything in a very good manner.

Now it has become the fashion of the terrorists to plant bombs in the metropolitan, in every two or three months, we don't no when will we be in the list of victims. Only god knows or all they who do all this.

it seems that our Government is really not taking this seriously and not taking any hard and effective steps to tackle with all this happening, and the opposition is utilising all this as a platform to criticize the ruling party, but the opposition were also governing Previous to this ruling party, and all this terror, has also happened in their ruling time as well. this is not the matter of showing the finger on each other, but to seat together and discuss the proper way to fight with. This is the question of the National security and our dear politicians are taking it as the catalyst to promote themselves for the forthcoming elections.

Whenever the blast take place and many meet to death and many get injured, the government announces the compensation and all, why not use that fund to protect the citizens, why they keep that fund to distribute awaiting for the time to come and, start announcing the compensations. The families don't want the money and all, they just want their loved ones to be with them in peace and no terror.

A Simple Hello To All...

Hi Friends,

I always wondered about, and always wanted myself to actively be a part of the BLOG world.

I had also tried to start one two years back, but didn't continued though.

Now I'm Impressed and Inspired By Mr. Amitabh Bachchan and Starting my very own BLOG.

I have been reading many blogs relating to Information Technology and personal Inputs by many Fellows, I also had Subscribed on Aamir Kahn's Blog, but never active there as well like my own in the past.

When I Heard of Mr. Bachchanji's blog, it took me three week's to log in to it after the Mega launch of AB's blog. One night I was just surfing on the net reading some IT topic on one blog of course, and a thought came in to my mind to visit the Big B’s Blog, and with no more further delay I googled for the Blog and soon directed to the Mega Land to sit besides the Great Personality and to talk and share my feelings with him, whom I honor like my Parents, Who teaches me the value of life.

Now again, I have started a blog; I wish this time, I will continue and be with you until my last Posting on the web, before my final breath.
